Bowdoinham Basketball is a league play program for boys and girls in grades 3 - 6. It is part of the larger Ararat Youth Basketball League made up of Topsham, Harpswell, Bowdoin, and Bowdoinham.
Teams are made up in the following ways:
- Girls 3rd & 4th grade combined
- Girls 5th & 6th grade combined
- Boys 3rd & 4th grade combined
- Boys 5th & 6th grade combined
This program aims to teach the foundations of basketball while providing an opportunity for each child to play in the recreational season. This program runs approximately 12 weeks.
PRACTICES: Will begin in November, dates & times TBD once coaches are in place. They are usually 1 - 1.5 hours and are held on weeknights at Bowdoinham Community School.
GAMES: We play games with Topsham, Bowdoin & Harpswell on Saturday mornings. Schedules will be published as we get closer to the start date.

-Place the needs of the participants before adults
-Provide positive and rewarding volunteer opportunities for teenagers and adults
